Penketh and Great Sankey Remembered |

| Some 1200 Parishioners gathered at Penketh Library and Square at 9.30am.. The procession was led by the Warrington Silver Band, the Cadet Corps Scouts and Guides Because of the large numbers the Service was held in two halls at the High School, during which Harry Mason a D Day Veteran recounted his experiences. After the Service the Parade Marched up to the Church and back to the Cenotaph in the Cemetery where Wreaths were laid, Warrington Mark Masons Wreath was laid by WBro JE Walsh the Procession the retired back to the High School for refreshments. | |
